The Latitude25 site and Stage 1A are coming along very nicely (even if we do say so ourselves), with all 13 slabs now laid and final frames installed this week!

The community is really beginning to take shape, with some homes already having their internal fitouts commence. But what has really added an extra element to the community this month, is the landscaping that is well underway. So our residents don’t have to wait to enjoy the shade, we have chosen to have mature, Fraser Coast native, Kauri Pines are now lining our main boulevard and they really bring a homely feeling to the current construction site!

Construction has now begun on the RV Wash Bay & Short-Stay Parking areas, as well as the Maintenance Hobby Shed, and the final roads of Stage 1A are nearing completion. Seeing the daily changes has our whole team excited, and now you can be too!

OUR DISPLAY HOME OPENING IS BOOKED IN – JULY 26, 2018!!!

Our Latitude Ladies have teamed up with Maureen from Fraser Coast Tourism & Events to enter into the 2018 Rally for a Cause, Dunga Derby! The main event isn’t until August, but the ladies have already jumped into raising money for Fraser Coast families with life-limiting conditions. They are holding a Barefoot Bowls fundraiser on Saturday June 16, at Urangan Bowls Club. Cost – $80 for a team of 4-6 to enter, with raffles & prizes on offer as well. We will keep you up to date with all our adventures leading up to the rally, but to say we are excited would be an understatement!

This month, we would like to introduce you to Ryan Williams, our enthusiastic & knowledgeable Development Manager.

Ryan runs the show here at Latitude25 and has managed many projects from the bottom up throughout Brisbane, Melbourne & Hervey Bay. When he gets a moment to himself, Ryan enjoys spending time with his young family but is also a bit of an adrenaline addict, often using his weekends for mountain bike riding & kite surfing.

Our Travelling Sales Centre (TSC) have been go, go, go for the first quarter of 2018. Their journey started off in Moreton Bay and then headed south for a successful few days showing the Fraser Coast to plenty of interested Melbournite’s at the Ballarat Great Outdoor Expo & Carisbrook at the Caravan & Motorhome Club of Australia State Rally.

These Expo’s are a fantastic way for the TSC to meet other travel enthusiasts & answer plenty of questions about RV community living. While we have had great enquiry on Latitude25 itself, the conversations of travellers making their way to the Fraser Coast for the cooler months has been strong. Looks like our caravan parks will be full again over winter; a fantastic boost for the economy!

With a short break back in Hervey Bay to enjoy the beaches & sunshine, the TSC headed off to Nambour for the South Queensland Caravan, Camping, Boating & Fishing Expo. The fun really starts this month, as Bob & Julie have just left on a month long adventure through Queensland to Cairns, Mackay & Goomeri! Keep an eye out on our Facebook & Instagram pages to see where they are in sunny Queensland and their must see spots along the way.

Latitude25 Sales Manager, Jane, has had a busy few months and things are gearing up to be even busier; just the way we like it! With so many exciting things to come for Latitude25, interest & enquiry is building by the week. The weekly Morning Tea’s are attracting plenty of new interest and it is exciting that they are attracting new people from far and wide, to the Fraser Coast. Already this year we have met people from Victoria, New South Wales & across Queensland who are interested in the Fraser Coast lifestyle & endless summer.

Apart from enquiries, what else is building at Latitude25? Our first homes in Stage 1A! Our first residents to finalise their home design, Gil & Kerry came to visit recently and see their block before they head off in their van to enjoy their new retired lifestyle. Since then, their slab has been poured & the framework has commenced. By the time they get back they won’t recognise the place!

What an exciting start to 2018 it has been for Latitude25 with their very first slabs poured, frames erected & residents eagerly awaiting their new homes! Currently the Watson, Kennard, Walton & Morrison designs are under construction with the roofs being installed this week.

All the homes at Latitude25 have concrete slabs and metal frames that come with a 6.5 year structural warranty. They are architecturally designed, energy rated efficient homes with 2.7 metre ceilings and large windows throughout.

The highest quality of finishing’s & inclusions are used throughout the home, including zoned & ducted Daikin air conditioning, floor to ceiling tiles in the bathrooms, stone bench tops in both the bathrooms and kitchen & Bosch stainless steel appliances – just to name a few!

The Kennard design will be the first Display Home with generous sized bedrooms, raked ceilings, louvered windows providing natural light and ventilation. The two alfresco areas to the front & side of the home mean the morning AND afternoon sun can be taken advantage of. The real highlight of this home though, is the 6 x 16 metre garage to store your caravan, RV, cars & toys.

Everyone will be able to see how truly impressive these homes and the Latitude25 lifestyle, really are. There will be a few days of food & fun planned to help us celebrate. Stay tuned for these dates to join the celebration of such a big milestone.
