NomadFest 2020 in the works
Cheers to a successful first annual NomadFest at Latitude25. More than 300 guests attended NomadFest 2019 over six weeks to enjoy fun-filled activities on everything from food and wine to art to helpful how-to workshops. The festival proved to be a truly perfect mix of fun and festivities.
Highlights during the event included learning how to make the perfect damper from the camp cooking expert Ranger Nick. Did you know damper is called damper because one damps the fire before putting the bread in ash to cook the bread? Attendees also enjoyed some poetry whilst learning how to make chicken curry & beef stew cooked on coals.
Another cracker of a session was the photography seminar which ensured attendees are ready to make photographic memories of their next trip. This event featured Ellen from Elfotography Hervey Bay, who schooled attendees on how to capture the perfect travel photos on mobile phones.
NomadFest goers truly appreciated the wine tasting events that celebrated three regions including Wide Bay Region, Western Australia and South Australia. Other sessions included informational sessions on caravan life (towing laws, parking and weight ratings, etc.), wellness seminar, retirement planning plus Devonshire teas and good old Australian barbecues for mingling and socialising.
The overwhelming success of the event ensures a repeat for 2020.
